How and when SupportWire issues refunds, processed through Paddle as our Merchant of Record.

SupportWire is sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing and tax compliance on our behalf. All refund requests are handled directly by us at SupportWire. This policy describes when and how we issue refunds.

  1. Statutory rights (EU, UK, and equivalent jurisdictions)

    If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with a statutory cooling-off period, such as the EU and UK 14-day right of withdrawal, those rights apply in full and override anything below. Contact us within the statutory window for a complete refund.

  2. Subscriptions, pro-rated refunds only

    Outside the statutory window, paid subscriptions (monthly or annual) are refundable on a pro-rated basis for the unused portion of the current billing period.

    • Monthly plans. Refund equals the unused full days remaining in the current month, calculated from the date we receive the refund request.
    • Annual plans. Refund equals the unused full months remaining in the current year, calculated from the date we receive the refund request. Partial months are not refunded.
    • The pro-rated amount is calculated against the price you actually paid, after any discount, coupon, or promotional credit.
    • Once refunded, your subscription ends immediately and access to paid features is removed.
  3. What is not refundable

    • Past billing periods that have already elapsed.
    • One-time charges, add-ons, and usage-based overages once the service has been delivered or consumed.
    • Accounts terminated by us for breach of our Terms of Service.
    • Taxes and fees, where local law does not require a refund.
  4. Free trials

    If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged and no refund is needed. If you are charged after a trial ends because cancellation was not completed in time, contact us within 7 days and we will issue a full refund of the first paid period.

  5. How to request a refund

    Email [email protected] with the email used for your purchase and your Paddle order ID (found on your invoice). We respond within 1 business day and process eligible refunds the same day through Paddle.

    Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank processing typically takes 3 to 10 business days after the refund is issued.

  6. Chargebacks

    Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. A chargeback filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.

  7. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Existing subscriptions continue under the policy in effect at the time of their most recent renewal.
