Introducing business hours and delight touches
A retro time range bar for business and shift hours, searchable timezones, and small moments of joy throughout the app.
Business hours and shift hours get a new time range bar — a retro, draggable strip with glow effects and a day/night gradient backdrop. Drag the handles to set your window, watch the bars fill in, and hit reset on a row to clear it. It's the kind of control that should feel tactile, so we made it tactile.
The timezone picker is now searchable by city, auto-detects your current zone, and greets you in the local language when you pick one. Pick Asia/Kolkata and you'll get a Tamil greeting; pick Tokyo and you'll get a Japanese one. Small thing. Nice thing.
The app also grew a handful of delight touches:
- Milestone celebrations when you cross 10, 100, or 1,000 resolved conversations
- Night owl mode that acknowledges late-night work
- Inbox zen when you hit inbox zero
- A Konami code easter egg (↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A)
- Localized emoji greetings on the dashboard
Also in this update
- The loading spinner was replaced with a braille animation loader — cleaner, more distinctive, and type-safe
- Desktop notifications auto-enable when the browser has already granted permission, and strip HTML tags from the body
- Command palette now shows a matched keyword pill on each result and supports searching by business hours, shift hours, and timezone
- "Create organization" button works again after a missing
